Entry #1 – Things Marketers Don’t Tell You

Affiliate Marketing

Hey, how’s it going. Putra here.

First entry of the month in this category – Affiliate Marketing. I don’t intend for this to be random or in any particular order at all, because I plan to use this space to create my own content, write ups specifically for my journey in growing as an affiliate marketer.

So, with that said. Let’s jump into the first few things I had in mind.

It’s gonna be a roller coaster journey 🤑

Earlier today, there was a live session by a mentor of mine in our high ticket program. Which he does this regularly and that’s one key aspect of a solid mastermind program.

The first few things he mentioned was that, nobody actually tells you that’s it’s gonna suck some days. While on some days, you’re gonna have some pretty awesome things happening and that’s it.

And I’m the type of person that when I plan something, I intend it to go as “planned.” Which you and I both know, that it doesn’t work that way. Maybe because I set expectations up too much? Well, I’ve managed to figure that part about me out, and I am going to change myself to be better in that aspect.

So maybe for those of you who are reading this, and maybe thinking of giving up at some point. Yeah just give up. But get back to it. Ironic isn’t it?

We need that feeling of giving up at times to put ourselves back into track. At least that’s what happened for me.

Which now leads to my next point.

But with a proper plan… 🔥

See, the thing is. We can come up with so many fancy plans for things in general. Some of which could go really good, you’ll get the ball rolling and get a certain momentum going on. While some plans just go south. It sucks – tell me about it 💁🏻‍♂️

What we really need is a bulletproof Plan of Actions.

Which essentially are a set of task, that needs to be completed in a single day.

I know for most of us, we tend to associate success with external results. When we should really work on the opposite of that. Instead of focusing on things you need to achieve, externally, turn that around to things that you need to get done. Don’t that count as achievement?

It does – but we fail to measure those things. You know exactly what you are in control of. Do that instead and measure your success by having done it. Then, and only then, will external results come in. I hope that makes sense.

One thing at a time… 👊🏼

So while you’re at it, don’t get overwhelmed by the number of things you need to get done. Start with the hardest thing on the list first, then on to the next.

Well, sounds so much easier in writing than actually having to do it right? But that’s the only path to your own growth.

There you have it. I hope that it didn’t sound like I was ranting at anybody. I intend this to be for myself as well and for people who are just like me 😅
